FIFA Presented The Adidas “JABULANI”, The Official Match Ball For The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Jabulani Ball

Adidas and FIFA have today presented the adidas “JABULANI”, the Official Match Ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, which has been developed in affiliation with academics at Loughborough University.

The “JABULANI”, which agency “to celebrate” in isiZulu, appearance a South African aggressive architecture and radically new technology. The new match ball, soon will be available in retail outlets which was unveiled in Cape Town.

Aero grooves actualize the acutely arresting contour on the ball’s surface. The Grip’n’Groove profile circles round the entire ball in an optimal aerodynamic way. The integrated grooves provide unmatched flight characteristics, making this the most stable and most accurate adidas ball ever. The ground-breaking performance features of the adidas “JABULANI” have been confirmed in comprehensive comparison tests and checks in the wind tunnel at Loughborough University and the adidas football laboratory in Scheinfeld, Germany.

If you hit a solid, controlled shot that flies straight, it will stay ultra straight. Bonus being, you will get an extra 10 yards out of the ball with a nice little dip at the end. But, if you put some spin on the ball, it moves! When I say the ball moves, I mean it dips, and weaves, and turns like no other!

The Adidas Jabulani is going to be every goalkeeper’s nightmare, and every striker’s greatest Christmas gift. To be honest, I can’t wait to see Cristiano Ronaldo strike this ball, Jabulani Soccer Ball because when he does it could be spectacular! I spent some time taking shots and it absolutely pings. The Jabulani is a very light ball and when you strike it clean it moves fast. In a sense, it reminds me of a plastic ball and it sounds plastic when you bounce it.

Striking it is a altered story, as the brawl feels like a covering ball, alone it seems to beset your bottom back you bang it. When you ascendancy the brawl off a continued pass, you can feel the activity of the brawl on your foot. Even though it is super light, there is a lot of power hidden inside!
